1) Why are you called "Baker in a Barn"?

I literally bake my cakes in a barn, a renovated barn that is! And, the barn is red, although I do not allow the animals to partake in the baking ritual as our logo suggests.

2) What about pick up or delivery?

I worship in Waurika, OK; my husband works in Ratliff City , OK; I live and play in the Byers/Charlie, TX area and shop in Wichita Falls, TX.

This means I pass through many towns on my way to these places. If your cake delivery day coincides with my passing through your town delivery is FREE!

If I am not passing through on the day you need the cake delivery is $0.55 per mile OR you may come to the bakery and pick it up.

3) Why aren't you as cheap as commercial stores?

Commerical stores have bakers, decorators and equipment to handle several baking jobs at once BUT commercial bakeries can only offer so much variety. If you want a Spiderman cake you can get one but probably only have two options to choose from.

I will make you a custom Spiderman cake that nobody else will have, any shape and any size! There are no limits!

 

4) do you ship cakes?

No, we don't.

5) what is your experience?

None. I'm self taught and continue to learn everyday with each new, challenging and unique order that comes in. My experience comes from whatever you commission me to do!

7) do you make wedding cakes?
